Directions

Bring a medium saucepan of water to a rolling boil. Add slivered kale. Blanch for 30-60 seconds, until collard greens turn bright in color. Drain and cool on bamboo mat or sieve. Top with lemon juice, olive oil, and a sprinkling of salt and pepper.
