Scottish Oatmeal

In Scotland, the oatmeal tends to be simple, clean and creamy, making it ideal for your favorite toppings. Oats are an excellent source of soluble fiber, helping to lower cholesterol and stabilize blood sugar. With all the flavor and antioxidants of your favorite berries, they make a delicious breakfast meal.


  • 3 cup filtered or spring water
  • Heaping 2/3 cup organic steel cut oats
  • 3 pinches white sea salt
  • organic berries of your choice



Add first three ingredients to small pot, bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer over very low heat for 1 hour. Serve warm, topped  with berries. 

Yield: 3-4 servings
