Dessert Sauce
Yield:
4-6 servings This is a very simple way to add a special touch to cakes and other baked goods. Adds sweetness and a wonderful complexity of flavors - all in only 3 ingredients!! Hope you enjoy this a much as I do. Salute!
Ingredients:
4-5 oz organic fruit spread, such as fig or blackberry, juice sweetened
zest from one organic lemon
1 tablespoon organic lemon juice
Directions:
Combine all ingredients and cook over low heat until barely brought to a boil. Simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and serve warm by drizzling over a slice of cake. (Particularly yummy over spice cake!)
