$35.00 Transforming your family's health and diet can seem like a daunting challenge. In this class we will take a look at the nutritive needs of children from toddlers to teens. Further topics will include:
- Fun, transitional foods your family will love. How to be healthy and happy.
- How to love whole foods - your kids will, too.
- Disease Prevention: Why cancer, heart disease, and diabetes are considered the scourge of the developed world (but are nearly non-existent in traditional societies).
- Calcium, iron, and protein - where they are found in the diet and how to maximize absorption and minimize loss.
- Recipes to cook with your kids.
Brooke is a graduate of the Natural Epicurean Academy of Culinary Arts and speaks to food preparation and the nutritive value of all foods from both eastern and western perspectives. Any and all questions are welcome. She loves holding dynamic discussion classes that help all to experience the joyful, transformative effects of food.
